My perspective comes as both an educator and a parent. I have over 20 years experience in working with teens as a National Board Certified Teacher at Niskayuna High School. I also have two children that I have successfully navigated through the college decision process. My education includes a BA magna cum laude from Colgate University, a teaching MA from the University at Albany and graduate work at Middlebury College and the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. Currently, I am completing my College Admissions Counselor Certificate through the University of California and have contacts with hundreds of college admissions officers around the country. I have worked with high school students throughout the Capital District, and am familiar with program offerings at most of our local high schools. I am available to work in either your home or mine and my costs are similar to those of an academic tutor.
